About Metamet Consultants

Metamet Consultants is a team of professional Materials Engineers, combining experienced staff with highly qualified new graduates. Our experienced consultants have a range of expertise across a number of different industries including oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, aerospace, automotive, marine, construction and metals manufacturing.

We are based in the Welsh Assembly Government's Engineering Centre for Manufacturing and Materials (ECM²). Backed up by a team of experienced laboratory staff we have access to an extensive range of modern testing and analysis capabilities, many of which are UKAS accredited. In addition to our own team, Metamet can call on the advice of associates, whose expertise adds value to our services, in areas such as stress analysis, materials modelling, NDE, welding technology, mechanical testing, chemical and environmental analysis.

Linked to the extensive testing and analytical capabilities and services at the Engineering Centre for Manufacturing and Materials, Metamet is able to provide investigative reporting on a whole range of metals-related problems from large-scale industrial problems to micro-scale components.

In addition, Metamet Consultants can provide chemical analysis of a wide range of materials, including environmental analysis.
