Dr. Tony Franks

Dr. Tony Franks has over 25 years experience as a professional metallurgist, a qualified welding technologist and chartered engineer, working mainly in the steel industry, but with particular experience in the construction, automotive, marine and petro-chemical industries. Tony has an R&D background, with senior management experience in an international steel company.

Rodney Tanswell

Rodney Tanswell has over 40 years experience as a professional metallurgist. With a background in aerospace R&D, Rodney has extensive experience of Quality Management in the steel industry, including strip and wire products. Rodney has 10 years experience running a team of metallurgists specialising in failure investigation.

Russell Chiplen

Russell Chiplen has over 30 years experience as a professional metallurgist, and chartered engineer working in a range of technical and quality management roles in the steel industry. Russell has a particular expertise in testing, and runs a UKAS accredited test laboratory.
